Fees & Insurance

Our Fees

  • Our fee is £50 per session.
  • A session normally lasts around 30 minutes.
  • We do not charge extra for the first consultation – if we need more time to get to the bottom of your problem then you will have it.
  • In some cases we may need a few sessions to get on top of your problem. We will always aim to give you an idea from the start of how many sessions you might need.
  • If you think you will have difficulty paying for treatment then don’t be afraid to discuss this with us.
  • Like any company we need a profit to stay in business. But it is not the reason we are working in healthcare. Our real desire is to get you well again. This is, and always will be, why we are in business.

Insurance

  • Most insurance companies nowadays will pay for osteopathy, just like they do for dentistry and chiropody.
  • Please check with your insurance company before you come that we are covered under your personal insurance plan.
  • We ask that you pay us at the end of each session and we will give you a receipt to claim back from your insurance company. That way we can concentrate on getting you better and not chasing down invoices. Insurance companies are generally much more agreeable to their clients (you) than third party therapists (us).

If you are intending to claim the cost of your treatment on a private health insurance policy, prior to your appointment please check whether:

  • You are covered for Osteopathic treatment.
  • You need to be referred by a GP, or need a GP’s signature on the claim form.
  • You have a limit to the number of treatment sessions.
  • Your policy has an excess (which you must pay direct to us).

All insurance companies are different, so please contact your own insurers as soon as possible to check the details specific to your policy.
