Insurance
- Most insurance companies nowadays will pay for osteopathy, just like they do for dentistry and chiropody.
- Please check with your insurance company before you come that we are covered under your personal insurance plan.
- We ask that you pay us at the end of each session and we will give you a receipt to claim back from your insurance company. That way we can concentrate on getting you better and not chasing down invoices. Insurance companies are generally much more agreeable to their clients (you) than third party therapists (us).
If you are intending to claim the cost of your treatment on a private health insurance policy, prior to your appointment please check whether:
- You are covered for Osteopathic treatment.
- You need to be referred by a GP, or need a GP’s signature on the claim form.
- You have a limit to the number of treatment sessions.
- Your policy has an excess (which you must pay direct to us).
All insurance companies are different, so please contact your own insurers as soon as possible to check the details specific to your policy.
